Charles Bregler May 1864 September 24 1958 was an American portrait painter and sculptor and a student and disciple of artist Thomas Eakins. Bregler wrote about Eakins s teaching methods and amassed a large collection of his minor works memorabilia and papers. Charles Berger academic Jump to navigation Jump to search. Berger was an American professor emeritus of communication at the University of California Davis. Berger died on September 25 2018 from health complications arising from cancer. A few of the works in the Bregler collection were included in the 1933 Goodrich catalog but after that they effectively disappeared from the scholarly community.
